THE COMMUNITY FUND

OUR GOAL:

At Thrive Supply, we believe in giving back to the community and our Community Fund is here to do that.

It exists to help grow the New Zealand Action-Sports scene by giving back to the people, events, and projects that make it special.

No matter what you ride.

HOW IT WORKS:

We dedicate 10% of our profits every quarter into a separate Community Fund account.

Also, during special campaigns (e.g. Community Month) we may also allocate a percentage of net sales directly into the fund to give it an extra boost.

This fund will help support local competitions, jams, fundraisers, and grassroots initiatives.

Whether that’s supplying prize packs for a skatepark jam, helping cover event costs, or putting up prize money for a comp.

And you’ll see it happen.

We’ll post regular updates so you can follow the fund’s growth and the stories of the riders and events we support.

Every time you shop with us, you’re investing in a future where Action-Sports in NZ can truly thrive.

WHO WE SUPPORT:

We focus on initiatives that bring communities together, including:

  • Skatepark jams & ride days.
  • Competitions, demos & fundraisers.
  • Group projects that support the scene.
  • Riders hosting or leading a community-focused event or initiatives.
(Individual riders may apply only if they’re hosting an event or project that benefits the wider community.)

WHAT SUPPORT LOOKS LIKE:

Depending on what you need most, we can offer:

  • Product support: Prizes, giveaways, gear, etc.
  • Financial support: Help with prize-money, park hire, promotional materials, etc
Note: Right now, product is our main form of support as we grow. We can supply products free or at cost + GST for your event.

Important Notes

  • Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • We aim to support grassroots projects that truly uplift the community.
  • Thrive Supply reserves the right to decline requests that don’t align with our goals and values.
  • Please be as detailed and transparent as possible. We appreciate honesty and enthusiasm.
  • If approved, we may ask for a short write-up and/or content so we can help share your story and inspire others.

Transparency

Right now, Thrive Supply is still a small grassroots business. We haven’t made a profit yet.

Every sale we make goes straight back into buying stock and keeping the dream going.

But as soon as we hit profitability, we’ll be putting real dollars into this fund and we’ll post updates so you can see its growth and the riders it supports.

In the meantime, we’re more than happy to help out by supplying products at cost or for free so we can support your event and help the scene grow.

Thrive Supply is built by riders, for riders, and this is one more way we can help make sure the scene thrives for years to come.
