What is Community Month?
July is a big one for us.
We’ve officially declared it Community Month. A month dedicated to showcasing and supporting the people, brands, and stories that make the action sports scene in Aotearoa what it is.
This month isn’t about us. It’s about you. The riders, creators, makers, and the people making shit happen behind the scenes. Whether you ride scooters, skateboards, BMX, or anything else with wheels, this Community Month is here to truly show what kiwis have to offer in the action sports space.

All month long, we’re linking up with local riders and brands across NZ to share their stories.
From mini interviews to behind-the-scenes looks, we’re posting SPOTLIGHT POSTS to give these legends the shine they deserve.
Keep an eye on our socials. Every week we’ll be posting features that show just how diverse, talented, and connected our community really is.

To celebrate Community Month, we’ve launched a limited-edition product:
The Community Box: Built for riders, by riders.
Inside you’ll find a mix of Thrive products you already know and love, plus exclusive gear you can only get inside this box.
Once these are gone, they’re gone for good. No restocks, no re-releases.
💰 Introducing: The Community Fund
We’re also planting a seed this month. One we hope grows into something much bigger.
We’ve set up the Thrive Community Fund, where 10% of all profits will be set aside to support the local scene.
That means future skate jams, DIY projects, competitions, and other rider-led events could get backing from this fund.
Even though we’re not profitable yet (we're still just getting started), 10% of the sales from every Community Box sold this month is going directly into the fund. It’s our way of showing we're serious about giving back to the community that’s shaped our lives.
We’re proud to be part of something bigger than just a brand. This month is proof of that.
